We’ve been able to land men on the moon but trying to get a decent cocktail on a commercial flight still seems like a utopian dream. And we won’t even talk about the wine and beer selection. It seems like the airlines have found a way to charge for everything that should be included in the ticket price. (Let’s not get started about legroom and baggage.) Yet, when it comes to something that would really enhance my travel experience and I’m willing to pay for it, you would think the airlines would falling over themselves to step up their drink game.

And this is why it pays to come prepared for your flight. Whether you’re using one of the pre-made kits or rolling your own, life is too short to drink like you actually belong in economy class.
